Founded in 2004, CSN Boston currently hosts two music benefit showcases each year highlighting emerging female singer/songwriters. Thanks to our many generous supporters, these fundraising events have enabled CSN Boston to donate ~$20,000 in the past eleven years to support music programs in the Boston-area.

MORE ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

EMMA BRAZINSKI

Emma is 14 years old and in 8th grade at the Blanchard Middle School in Westford, MA. Emma enjoys music, theater, singing, playing soccer, swimming and hanging out with her friends.

Emma has performed in many shows with the Acton Cooperative Theater (a.k.a The A.C.T) in Acton, MA including the role of Sebastian in "The Little Mermaid,” Ziggy in "Dear Edwina Jr,” Cathy in "High School Musical” and Mitchie Torres in "Camp Rock.” Emma was Jenna (a female version of the original character "Jim”) in her 5th Grade production of "Treasure Island.” Emma performed a vocal solo in Treasure Island in the song "Cheese on Toast.” Emma performed in shows with Blanchard Theater Arts including a Silver Bell in "Shuddersome: Tales of Poe,” the orange bird girl in "Seussical” and most recently, Sandy in "Grease.”

Emma auditioned the last two years for vocal parts in Eastern Junior Districts and was selected to perform in the mixed chorus (2016) and the treble chorus (2017). Emma performed a vocal solo in the song "How can I keep from Singing” in the Westford Town-wide Chorus Concert 2017.

Emma plays soccer for Striker’s United in Acton, MA year round and spends her summers swimming in the Colonial League on the Chelmsford Swim and Tennis Club Swim Team in Chelmsford, MA. Emma will travel to Barcelona, Spain this summer (2017) to compete with her Striker’s United Soccer Team.


LIV FREYMAN

Liv is in the 8th grade at Blanchard Middle School. She participates in Blanchard Theater Arts and portrayed the roles of Frenchie in "Grease” and the Sour Kangaroo in "Seussical the Musical”.

Liv also participates in the Blanchard chorus and the Harmonics Honor Choir.

When she is not on the stage Liv enjoys playing softball and swimming.

Liv would like to dedicate this performance to her friends (especially her Otter) and her family.


ANNIE BAKER

Annie has loved to sing since childhood, in her church choir, musical theatre, pops choruses; and currently, with her multi-genre cover Band, "Miss Ellaneous,” throughout the Boston area. In addition to live performance, Annie enjoys studio work, recording demos and backup vocals. She especially loves performing blues, country, and bluegrass, and her influences include Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Gillian Welch, Patty Griffin, and Dolly Parton.

When she’s not singing, Annie spends her time raising two musical daughters with her husband in Winchester, MA, and trying to squeeze in her day job, developing brand strategy and identity for startups.

AVA SUPPELSA

At just 19 years old, Ava Suppelsa has already had a career that rivals musicians twice her age. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, she is a self taught guitarist and accomplished songwriter. She played her first live show at age 13 and since has received national recognition for her songwriting from the International Songwriting Competition, Great American Songwriting Contest and more. In 2015, she was named a Young Arts Winner, a competition supported by the National Endowment of the Arts. Out of 11,000 applicants, she was one of 6 selected Singer/Songwriters. A captivating performer, Ava has performed at venues across the country and has opened for artists such as Grammy-Nominee Hunter Hayes, popular indie songwriter Andrew Belle, and will open for Clay Cook of Zac Brown Band in 2017. She is currently a sophomore at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she studies songwriting and music business. Her debut EP was released in February 2017 and can be found on all online platforms as well as her website, www.avasuppelsa.com. She continues to write and perform around New England and will be relocating to Nashville, TN this summer.


ANNIKA

Annika.Song is a 15 year old up and coming singer/songwriter. She just finished recording her first demo CD in Nashville which should be released in late Spring.

With an authentic and youthful country/pop vibe these songs will be a sure hit among teens and millenials. Her covers can be found on youtube or Instagram @Annika.Song.
