What is the Chick Singer Night Showcase?

All singers are welcome; all styles of music, all levels of experience. Each singer shows up the afternoon of the show, charts in hand, and rehearses her songs with the CSN Band. Later that evening she hits the stage with a hot band in a cool venue with a full house to give the performance of her lifetime!

Robin DeLorenzo is a powerful, bluesy-soulful rocker who sings from her soul, writes from her heart and puts it all out there for every song and performance. Robin has been favorably compared to Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner and Cher for her powerful vocals, emotional deliveries and passionate performance style.

Robin has comfortably settled into her own music. She is an International Performer and plays often in her home state of New Jersey. Robin has shared the stage, performed with/for and/or recorded with Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Manny Charlton-Guitarist (formerly of Nazareth), Robert Sarzo-Guitarist (Queensryche, Hurricane, Ozzy), Tim Bogert, Bassist (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Beck), Vivian Campbell, Guitarist (Def Leppard), Steven Adler, Drummer (Guns n Roses) to name a few. George has recorded with Bill Doggett, Livingston Taylor, Bernard Purdie, Jack DeJohnette, Gerald Albright, Cornell Dupree, etc. He has gigged with Donald Fagen, Steve Cropper, Duck Dunn, Roy Orbison, Melissa Manchester, Willie Dixon, Wilson Pickett, Junior Walker, Sam & Dave etc. George has done Jingles, TV and Movie work, played on Broadway, produced records, arranged for live dates and recordings, and worked as Musical Director for many artists.He has alsokept up a teachingpractice for over 35 years. www.georgenaha.com

Andy is a much in demand bass player who has been in the biz one way or another since the age of 11. He has worked as a banjo and guitar player, recording engineer and professional choral singer in addition to his work on the bass. He has had the good fortune to record and perform with blues legend Hubert Sumlin, and work with award-winning blues artist Dave Fields and most recently has hit the stage with International Blues Phenom, Sari Schorr.

Judy has performed with such artists as James Taylor, Rupert Holmes ( "The Pina Colada Song" ) Deborah Gibson, Darlene Love, Freda Payne, Mickey Dolenz, Jay Black and The Americans, Little Anthony and the Imperials,The Shirelles, Paul Sorvino, Tony Danza, Lana Cantrell, and Mary Wilson of the original Supremes. A testament to her versatility, she is as comfortable playing Gershwin as she is Motown or Mozart; having provided listening musicfor swanky cocktailparties,as a solo pianist in NYC's Plaza Hotel, The Essex House, The Pierre Hotel and more. She played Bill Clinton's first inaugural ball and annual 'country music' Christmas parties for Robert Duvall in his NYC apartment for several years. When Barbra Streisand gave an intimate luncheon at the Four Seasons Restaurant, Judy was called upon to provide the solo piano entertainment. Judy is also an established NYC session musician and has written and played music for Sesame Street as well as several jingles whichincludeBarbie, AT&T, and an on screen appearance for the 2005 Dentyne Fire commercial. Broadway Shows have included the smash hit, Hairspray and The Wedding Singer, and Terrence Mann's Rock Opera, Romeo & Juliet at The Goodspeed and The Ordway Theater, as well as serving as Musical Director for the LA and Palm Springs production of Jake Ehrenreich's "A Jew Grows In Brooklyn", and is currently musical director for "Stoned Soul Picnic", a tribute to the life and artistry of Laura Nyro. She toured extensively with the late R&B legend Ben E. King (Stand By Me) and also co-produced and arranged some of his more recent recordings, of which contain songs she co-wrote.

Best known for being the drummer of Blood Sweat & Tears for the past 15 years, a groundbreaking Jazz rockband which as been touring for the past 44 years. Andrea's wide variety ofmusical experiences include performances and recordings with, PopRock and Jazz artists like: Larry Carlton, Donna Summer, David Clayton Thomas,Chuck Negron, Tony Orlando, Neil Sedaka, Martha Reeves, Gwyneth Paltrow, DrJohn, Arturo Sandoval, Phil Woods, Christian McBride, Oznoy andmany others. Andrea livesin the New York area, where he has his ownrecording studio called Teaneck Sound, a full production facility. Andrea would love to play on your project. When off the road he keeps a busy schedule playing in the New York club scene.
